Terms & Conditions

Dress to Order

1, A payment of 50% is payable when placing your order. This deposit is non-refundable transferrable to other orders or products.

2, In the event that Lavender & Jude is unable to provide your gown after ordering you will be entitled to a full refund of sums paid in full and final settlement of all sums due. 

3, Delivery dates are estimates and are subject to change. Lavender & Jude cannot be held responsible for any delays by the manufacturer. 

4,It is your responsibility to view, inspect and accept your garment(s) within 7 days of notification that your garment(s) have arrived in store. No garment can be returned to the manufacturer after this period. You will be deemed to have accepted your garment(s) after the expiry of the said 7 day period. 

5, Lavender & Jude will be pleased to assist you in the choice of design, style, colour and accessories. however they cannot be held responsible if your circumstances change, you change your mind or lose or gain weight after the date of order. 

6, No cancellation  of this contract is permitted after the deposit had been paid unless the supplier is unable to deliver the good for the occasion date in which case a full refund will be payable to you in full and final settlement of all sums due. 

7, Lavender & Jude does not carry out alterations. We can recommend a seamstress but do not employ one and are therefore your costs associated with any alterations are between you and the seamstress. Lavender & Jude will not be responsible for any issues arising with alterations. 

8, The outstanding balance is due within 7 days of your receipt of notification that your garment(s)  has arrived in store.

9, Late balance payment will be charged £50 for the 1st month and £25 for each month thereafter.

Sale of Sample Gowns,

These are final sales and cannot be returned for a refund or exchange after purchase.

All Sample gowns must be paid for in fillet the time of purchase. This payment is non-refundable or transferable at a later date, or in the event of cancellation of wedding.

All minor repairs and cleaning (if needed) are the customers responsibility. Gowns are priced accordingly.

All Sample Gowns once paid for are to be collected. If after 6 months Lavender & Jude has the right to donate said gown to charity.

This contract is between Lavender & Jude and the Bride undersigned.
