Glemham Hall Open Day

January the 14th saw Glemham Hall’s first Open day of 2018.

And it didn’t disappoint, Donna and Victoria worked their magic!

Everything was there for a newly engaged couple to see. The marquee was beautifully decorated in delicate shades of green, pink and grey. Colours which are already proving a  popular choice with our brides this year for their bridesmaids.

Flowers all around Glemham Hall were provided by Ipswich’s Myrtle and Mint. Charlotte always makes the most beautiful displays. I loved what she did with the grand Staircase,  zinc pots with alternating ferns and ivory roses and variegated greenery, just gorgeous.

Incredible Cakes from Helen at Amelies Kitchen. Helens cakes are always amazing, feminine, original and actually taste great too.

Polly Pickle stationary  complimented Charlottes beautiful flowers with her wonderful table name places and menu cards. Ensuring a really tasteful modern looking table.

Providing fabulous Make-up expertise was Victoria Bradfield. A real favourite with my brides, Victoria always gives the best advice and helps brides-to-be achieve the all important natural look. Making sure the bride and her attendants are all picture perfect!

Music was more than covered by the fab My Big Fat Wedding Disco. MBFWD also provide the most amazing lights and props for your big day. Follow the link above and look at the website. Constantly updating and staying on top of the ever changing trends…

Photography was covered by the lovely Ross Dean and Patrick Stockley.

Classical music was so perfectly provided by the fabulous Scintillo Quartet. I was lucky enough to be sharing the beautiful Hall with Chris and his colleagues and I have to say it was a real treat. Watching couples listening to their chosen pieces was just wonderful. There really is something very special about a string quartet. If you haven’t thought about that yet have a little listen on their website they really are brilliant!

Last but not least there was me! Lavender & Jude. Soon to celebrate 14 years of dressing beautiful Brides-to-Be. I took with me 2 brand new dresses from the wonderful Kenneth Winston and Ella Rosa, a Venus bridal gown ‘Bettina’ in a gorgeous blush colour and my absolute favourite showstopper ‘Ella’ from Venus Bridal. Bridesmaids were from Dessy and BariJay in the Open Days colours of tonal Greys and Blush Pink.

Below are some images of the day from Victoria and  Dominic Whiten  who helped me set up and then brilliantly recorded the day for me to show to you..

I think 2018 is going to be a Great Year !
